Edison Home Phonograph « Thread Started on Nov 2, 2009, 9:35pm »
Hello To One and All,
Well, guess what? I’m back again with another problem. I recently acquired a 1903 Edison Home Phonograph. I have been busily disassembling the phonograph for restoration. Removing some of the items has been extremely difficult but I have managed to do most. Right now I can not figure out how to remove the best pulley off of the feed screw. There appears to be a small collar on the inside and then the pulley on the outside. I have removed the setscrews but the pulley will not budge. I have tried tapping it, turning it, twisting it but can not remove it. I am having a similar problem with the small stud that the lock for the cylinder rotates on. No matter what I do or attempt to do I can not remove them. Does anyone out there have an idea, suggest or solution? Once again thanks for any assistance.
