Okay, I know this is off topic but, I now have a brand new computer. As an early birthday present. My Parents bought me a brand new I-Mac, computer. After getting a virus for the third time. I made the switch, and boy am I glad i did. This computer is fantastic. Brand new computer, running "Snow Leopard" operating system. How is that for a name. Take that windows 7. Anyway, no more PC's for me. Now it's strictly mac. Wireless mouse and keyboard, and large monitor. Also, no more annoying fans, or hard drives. This computer is quiet. It fits nicely on my desk, and fill in more the the PC. Plus no more stinking tower. Anyway, just wanted to share this with everyone.

Paul,
Congratulations on your Mac.. I have owned them since I started using computers about five years ago, on my second one now. I love the slim lines and simple layouts. Can't hardly stand to see those busy PC screens!
What I am not good at is figuring things out. I want to understand how to load videos of my edison on to the I Movie feature, and although I have read much of the Help information, I still can't make it work. If your into that kind of thing and figure it out let me know.

I will. One of the things I did, was to sign up for the, one to one classes, at the apple store. They are personal training classes, to teach you how to use a mac. I want to be able to do the same thing. So I can upload, videos to youtube. Eventually, I would like to buy a digital still camera, and video camera.

Paul,
I was also going to purchase a video camera. But I finally decided to see what my little sony camera did when it was set to record. I only made one piece with a record playing. The phonograph ended up sideways as I turned the camera for a better layout, not thinking about the tilt? At any rate I was pretty surprised that the sound and picture quality was pretty good. The only thing I got it to load to was the I Photo section of the computer. That opened automatically even though I had the I Movie open and clicked the link it said to use to download the movie from the camera. I need to call the help line eventually and see if they can figure out how to get me past the being stuck point. I don't have an apple store anywhere closer that two hours which is a pretty good drive. But perhaps some time I will have to do that.

Hey Larry, I just used my digital scanner, for the first time. So now I can scan record labels, with this board, and the TMF.
