Hello Edison fans! Over 10 yrs ago I bought a short (approx. 30pg) spiral bound book by/from George Copeland that gave EXTENSIVE details about the entire production history of Diamond Discs, and I've briefly tried finding it on the web but to no avail. This book was a no-frills hand typed mimeograph with not so much as one picture, but it was jammed full to the brim with details about manufacture materials, dating, period sound qualities, label changes, etc. I'd really like to get another copy of this booklet in any format for my personal use (I still have the original book but since I've moved I can't put my finger on it). If no-one here has a copy to share/sell/donate , can anyone provide contact info for George that I may contact him directly (email preferred) in hopes of obtaining a copy form him? Big crankin' Thanks in advance. Watch those stylus tips

Well PhenolResin, I have some good news for you. I'm currently working with George to republish a revised and updated version, (including photographs) of his fine book. It is well along, and I hope to have it available later this year.

I just finished reading Mike and George's book and I have to say it is a wealth of information. There is info here that you won't find anywhere else. If you are an Edison DD fan, I highly recommend this book. Hats off to Michael and George!

Ditto to what Bill wrote. I didn't realize how much I didn't know about Diamond Discs until I read this book!

I agree. An excellent resource by Mike and George. The information is very well organized and logically presented. I'll be referencing it often while building my DD library. Like George P., I didn't realize how much I didn't know.
Thanks, Mike and George.
