Hello,
Wondering if anyone else out there is interested in all varieties of vintage record machines, including early electric models. I started with a ~1915 Columbia Grafonola machine, and some Edison cylinder machines. I have always enjoyed records more than other recording formats, so I am working on a collection of early electric machines as well. The idea is to have a machine from every decade (for starters).
It would be great to discuss/learn about early electric record machines here. I have a 1946 Philco tube unit which is great for 78s and AM radio. Does anyone have suggestions/information to offer about vintage machines for playing 45s and LPs? I've been collecting 45s and LPs from all eras, and finding the right vintage machines to play them on would be a bonus.
Thanks, Neal
