I have cataloged all 162 I found in an estate sale. Most are the Blue Amberol Indestructible with no lids and often no bottoms either. There are a good selection of the black wax though I am unsure of the aging as some of the labels are "Edison Record" and some are "Edison Gold Moulded". There are a handful of Columbia (Wax I think) in blue lidded containers as well as a few Columbia Indestructible with metal rings inside. I have attached the spreadsheet (Libre Office) Edison Cylinder master list.ods (18.01 KB). I would appreciate any information on rarity of titles or any other general information. I can provide pictured upon request, but do not have any at this time. Thanks in advance for any information. Thanks, Joshua

Below is a link to a spreadsheet which includes all Edison cylinders and diamond discs. It does not tell you anything about rarity, but has lots of other information. BTW: you may want to do a search and replace through your spreadsheet and replace "Ambersol" with "Amberol"... forum.talkingmachine.info/download/file.php?id=16360Hope that helps Andreas

Thanks, Andreas. I think I had replaced the "Ambersol" but had neglected to save the file before uploading. My apologies. Thanks for the link to the file. I haven't had much luck with finding matches, but it's a nice resource all the same. I should have mentioned that I am not a collector, nor do I have the desire. I bought these due to the uniqueness of them and their relative rarity (I am 32 and had never seen anything like these. Also, my mother nor grandmother had no idea what they were). Anyway, it is nice to see a community dedicated to these relics and glad that these pieces of history are cherished. That said, I will be looking to sell all of them (as a lot or individually) if anyone is interested. I can be contacted at groovinonup AT gmail.com. Thanks!
