Hi there
I have a C19 Lab Model and an A100 Moderne player and the reproducers are not too crash hot.
I was wondering if an Edisonic Diamond Disc Reproducer fits, and if it's the correct reproducer?
Thanks and regards

Certainly an Edisonic would fit any Diamond Disc machine, as it was marketed as an upgrade for older phonographs: however, it might tend to increase record wear, due to the extra weight.
As far as your current reproducers are concerned: have they been fully serviced? It's surprising what a little cleaning and some new gaskets will do.
The A-100, with its smaller horn, will probably never be 'crash hot'; but the C-19 is an excellent machine, even with a standard reproducer in good condition. You might try replacing the diaphragm if it has become warped (I am currently using a diaphragm made by *larryh* in my C-250, and it produces marvelous results).
There is also another variable: the records themselves. Are you basing your opinion on discs in good condition from the prewar era and the '20s? Just asking… BillS

Hi Bill
Thanks for your advice, appreciated! As it turned you, you were spot on, on both counts. I visited a chap here in Sydney, who specialises in repair of Edisons and he said the reproducer for the A100 was fine.
Kind Regards
Adrian
