Larry,
Yeah those are some fun records. I was listening that Follow The Swallow last night. № 598, my old union local Boston Carmen. ;D

Thanks Larry! I already have two of the dance band tunes in the list. I see that there are some non-dance band records in your lot of Cameos, and they might be difficult to sell. I recently got 8 Cameos on Ebay, six of which were in the $3-4 range, and two being over $7. I was surprised that I got them so easily. As you know, all it takes is one bidder with a huge income (or a poor person who spends foolisly) and the bidding can get out of hand.
I have the Cameo of "Follow the Swallow," but if memory serves me correctly, I actually prefer George Olsen's Victor rendition! John, are you scandalized? ;D ;D

Yea, that was me, I hope the "Ol' Man River" is worth hearing more than once, at least! ;D I'm happy, so thanks Larry!

I was curious about that one as well. You'll have to let me know what you think of it once you've get it.

I'd agree with Rocky, at least 1926. I wouldn't be surprised to hear even 1927, since they were a "cheap" label. I have a copy of Jack Kaufman "He's Our Al" (the Al Smith campaign, 1928? - don't have the issue # here at work) which is a definitely an electric, though not a great one! Sean Folks, Weird thing, I pulled out a random stack of records two days ago (and those who know my record filing system know when I say random I mean RANDOM! ;D) and guess what I came up with?........ I'm embarrassed to admit I had no idea I even owned it! Or should say I completely forgot I owned it. Sad. Regards, J. A vote for Smith is a vote for BEER! ;D

Sean,
Oh yeah, it's a fun number. I got a kick out Al's inclusion in Sidewalks Of New York on the flip. I read that Sidewalks... was his campaign song as well.

It's obviously no Whiteman / Crosby or Whiteman / Robeson, but it's still pretty good. The Bob Haring "I Wanna Be Loved By You" is just great! It's a riot to hear a guy singing a song made famous by Helen Kane. He even does the "Boop-boop-a-doop"! Sean
