I had never heard of Arthur Lichty until I saw one one his Blue Amberols in an Ebay auction a few days ago---"It's tulip time in Holland," BA 2707, recorded in 1915. Cheapskate me submitted a minimum bid of 99 cents and lost it! At any rate, here's the record, and what a great recording. I like Arthur Lichty and with this post I hereby lift him out of his undeserved oblivion. cylinders.library.ucsb.edu/mp3s/0000/0988/cusb-cyl0988d.mp3Rocky

Rocky,
If you like him, look for 1617(direct rec. 1913)"Sleepy Rose" and 2700(dub from DD 50283-R ,1915)"My Little Girl." I may have one or both, I'll check...............

Bill, I note that the two songs that you recommend are available at the U of Cal cylinder site. I'll give them a listen. Thanks, Rocky
