Vulcan Cylinder Records, based in Sheffield, UK, manufactures cylinder records using a modern, hard-wearing, plastic resin material. The records look just like black waxes (mostly) but will last several lifetimes and sound as good for your grandchildren as they do now. The web address is www.vulcanrecords.com. If you send your email address through our Contact page, we'll add you to our mailing list for updates and latest news (we won't use it for anything else!). Thanks for your interest in this wonderful, exciting and enthralling world of early sound recording. Gwynn

Hello, thanks for the welcome.
I've just found this site and I think it's wonderful that there is such a place for lovers of all things early-sound-recording to swap ideas and information.
I am part of the Vulcan Cylinder Record team and am constantly learning more about cylinders in particular and I'm absolutely fascinated.
Thanks
Gwynn
