Hi,
Depending on content & condition, I may be interested. Could you please post pix of the cylinders?

I have a Edison Amberol 30 that plays great but is need of one part. It's the screw that holds the spring clip under the reproducer that holds the piece on that guides the reproducer to the record. I have a small machine screw in it now but it always comes loose. I don't know what was in the machine originally. I have had the machine since I was a kid and still play songs on it. It sounds good to me but should the reproducer be rebuilt or should I keep it original as long as it sounds good?

I have a Edison Diamond Disk floor model that has record storage on both sides instead of under the player. I've had it for years but now it's having trouble playing records. Instead of playing, it sticks instead of traveling across the record. If I take the turntable off, the arm goes right across but once I put the turntable back on and a record, it doesn't play correctly. Also the arm of the machine with the lever in the down position isn't free. Something is out of adjustment and I don't know what.

My Diamond Disk Edison will not track the records correctly. It has worked great for years but something went out of adjustment. What should I check?

I'm new to board and don't know how to start a new topic. I have DD model 250, no longer tracking well. There appears to be a "worm gear" running along a bar of teeth that tracks, but they don't touch by about 1/4 in. It looks like adjustment is to raise the horn?? Several places on horn post to loosen and raise horn? Tips on which ones, and is this correct assessment?

Check out the Edison Manual found at the lower part of the main page under Useful Resources.

Thanks Matt,
I decided to check out my Amberola VIII after it has sat around with a broken mainspring for several decades (I retired a few years ago and would like to get it working again). I also have a large box of cylinder records that I enjoyed playing when I was a kid. I noticed that there is a guy in St. Johnsbury VT that repairs these machines, and i was wondering if you know what kind of work he does (Victrola Repair Service). How did you get interested in Edison Phonographs?

Hello, I just joined the forum. I have what I am 95% sure is a Edisonic Shubert with a serial # of CLT 5056. It was repaired at some point very poorly. I was wondering if any one could send me a photo of what the lid support arm apparatus should look like. I'm trying to repair it currently. Thank You, Michael Malloy

Hi and welcome Michael.. I wish I had a Shubert but do not.. I wondered however if perhaps its one that recently was on ebay out east? Looked like a pretty nice machine cabinet wise.

Hi All, my wife and I just purchased a Edison C19 from a local estate sale. We didn't know anything about vintage phonographs but this beauty called to us. We purchased it and the lower storage has about 30 records. It plays and works fine. Needs some cleaning and oil and grease as expected. I'm trying to learn as much as possible and having a hard time finding out when and what year it was made. Any help would be awesome. Also we would like to know how do you know if the tip is bad and needs to be replaced? Thanks, Randy & Traci

Hi I just joined the board and have a question. I just bought a C-200 yesterday in pretty nice condition but the stylus is completely worn away. Does anyone know where I could buy a replacement and what the average cost should be? Thanks Bob

Got an Edison Disc Phonograph and trying to get an estimate it's value. Looking for a recommended agency who would give a good estimate. The unit is in great condition and sounds great. Attachments:

Hello Everyone, I recently received an edison standard with an aluminum horn. I know nothing about this type of horn or if it is original or later. It seems to be in pretty good shape considering how soft the metal is. Also it seem older because of all the oxidation and small dings. Would love any info on this unique horn. measures 14L x 7.5 Dia. Thanks Attachments:
