Hi, I am new to the discussion board. I have had a beautiful Amberola 1A in my family for years and I am now putting it up for sale. I am not sure of the worth but I am doing a lot of research. Any help would be appreciated. I thought I would include some pictures. Attachments:

These appear to be two beautiful pieces. The Amberola 1A is certainly a favorite cylinder machine among collectors. Where might you be located?

Here is another picture. I have many more but I am limited on space in the attachment section. If interested send an e-mail address and I could send more pics. I am still learning more about the worth of these Amberola's, so I haven't nailed down a price. Thanks for the response. Attachments:

Is this machine still available? If so, I would be very interested in pictures and in knowing if you have settled on a price yet. My e-mail is Johnathan882@gmail.com.

I would also like to see additional photos. I'd like to see a photo of the decal on the inside of the lid and a photo of the crank side. From the provided photos, it looks like the finish on the record cabinet and the Amberola are identical. Were both pieces refinished? The grill in in upside down and there are pieces missing from the grill. Do you have those pieces? I'm also curious about the lid. Early Amberola 1-A's had a concave swoop to the lid. Later examples have a two step swoop to the top. This cabinet appears to have a more "Victrola" style lid. That's one reason I would like a photo of the decal under the lid. What is the serial number on the ID tag? Does that number match the number on the casting of the mechanism? What color is the paint on the mechanism? Please send additional photos to jerry.blais@yahoo.com
Thanks, Jerry

There's a thread about selling my whole collection and there is a mahogany I-A for sale at $4500 and it's still available.
