If you copy and paste the link to your address bar, then add the "em" to it, it works. It looks like a L-35 to me- not a 319, as the description states. Its in pretty bad shape, but with 6 records, no reserve, and a current bid at $1, its a pretty good buy in my mind.

Folks, Here it is: B-19/Chalet. Might be quite a deal there. Needs a crank and grille. Should have a nickel-plate reproducer as well. Interesting reading about it. It's gumwood and was sold at a loss. Also of note it did not originally come with a mute-ball. It had a relatively short run I guess. It was a post war model that was placed on the obsolete list in '23. Regards, J.

Paul, Here is a pic of my B-19, so you can get an idea of what the grille looks like. That one appears to be an early one as it does not have the mute ball like John mentioned. They were later added on these nice little machines. Also, as John pointed out, it appears to be missing a few pieces. The winding crank isn't a problem nor is a nickel reproducer (it takes the latter one (w/o the extra plate on the weight for the needle bar.) Getting the grille might be the major obstacle if you go for this machine. Fortunately, this is a one piece affair as opposed to others that were two, ie grille & frame. I do see these on Ebay complete from time to time, so if you choose to pass, no big deal. Try & pay as little as possible as you will have to obtain the other pieces. If you do decide to go for it, I can make a template of my grille and send it to you. You can probably find a competent person that has scroll saw skills. Bill BTW, that's a Dance Reproducer you see on mine, which really thumps out a good hot foxtrot on this baby!

Actually, I wasn't planning on buying it, I just wanted to share this, with everyone on here. I had never seen a table top, Edison Disc Player before. I also figured someone on here would recognize it.

Wow! I didn't expect it to fetch that sort of money. Maybe the records helped, but I doubt it. Is there something special about a B-19 that I should know, or is this an average price for the table models over there?
