I am looking to buy an Edison standard model d front mounting horn crane for morning glory horns. also I am trying to find a reproducer for a reasonable price that I can use with this machine preferably a model K, H or C, reproducers also preferably a 4 minute reproducer. My machine has only a standard carriage not a horizontal large frame so a diamond reproducer or model O will not work.

Hi And welcome to the board! You didn't specify as to whether you were looking for an original crane or a repro but APSCO offers repro cranes www.antiquephono.com/edisect.htm and the quality is quite good. There is also Wyatt's www.wyattsmusical.com/CoverINDEX.html As for Reproducers, there is eBay as well as the phonograph shows that are held several times a year. There is a show that is held in Wayne, N.J. twice a year that is well attended and usually lots to see and a smaller one in Danbury, CT. The Orlando show is coming up next month on the 25 & 26. The Union show usually held in June is also a very good show that you have to attend at least once if you are going to collect. A Mod. H or K is what you want for 4M play, with the K giving you the best of both worlds as it does both 2/4. There are also the Mods. R and S for 4M play and have a larger diaphragm but are scarcer and thus more costly than the H & K. Bill
