I'm not sure I get what it is - a recording of a telegraph message?
Was it sent/received by someone special?

Well, unless the translated message reveals the location of the ark of the covenant...... me thinks the bidding on this one was "whacky" indeed.

Yes, under "Questions and Answers," the seller responds by stating that the record consists of telegraph ticking noises. I can't imagine spending over $500 for that!

WOW! What a strange thing to put on a DD to start with. It would be interesting to know what it translated to. I thought it might be some sort of training record, but you would think there would be talking on it, if that was the case, to "walk" you through it. I guess we'll never know
