Gents,
Just for the sake of redudancy I thought I'd post a link to my thread about my first Diamond Discs from the Vic Board and reprint the latest batch here.

Gents,
I just picked up ten more DD's at the P.O. that I've been waiting for since the end of May!
(The seller sent them out Priority and sent along a generous discount for the delay! I'm impressed, but not as impressed as I would have been had I got them three weeks ago. )
Etched labels:
50617 R "Good-Night, Dinny, and God Bless You", tenor w/ Orch. Geo McFadden
L"Everybody Loves an Irish Song", Tenor w/ Orch. John Finnegan
80612 R "Irish Rose O' My Heart", Tenor w/ Orch. Allen McQuhae
L "When I Dream of Old Erin", Male Voices w/ Orch. Apollo Quartet Of Boston
[This one has the Edison name on the top on the "R" side with TAE on the left & the Shield design w/o number or "L" anywhere on the "left" side. Is that common?]
Paper label "Re-Creations":
50933 R "I Ain't Nobody's Darling", Piano Solo Ray Perkins
L"On A Little Side Street", Piano Solo Ernest L. Stevens
51026 R "Red Moon Waltz", Ernest L. Stevens' Trio
L "If I Had My Way, Pretty Baby", Fox Trot same
51033 R "My Old Hawaiian Home", Palakiko's Hawaiian Orch.
L "Eleanor", Fox Trot Imperial Marimba band [This side looks damaged ]
80313 R "Swing Along!", Male Voices The Orpheus Male Chorus
L "Kentucky Babe", Male Voices Manhattan Male Quartet
Paper Label "Records":
Red Star;
51126 R "Bring Back The Sunshine You Took Away", Fox Trot Stevens' Dance Quartet
L "Lady Of The Lake", Waltz same
51219 R "Marcheta (A Love Song Of Old Mexico)", Tenor Walter Scanlan
L "Say It With A Ukulele", Tenor Duet Bailey And Bent
Red Star;
51281 R "Dream Daddy", Fox Trot California Entertainers
L "Take, Oh Take Those Lips Away", Fox Trot same
82316 R "Marchéta" Violin Albert Spalding
L "(A) Le Cygne (The Swan) (B) Valse In G Flat, Op. 70, No. 1", Violin same [This side looks damaged ]
So do I have anything good? I am really looking forward to hearing these for the first time!!!!
Regards,
J.
