On Thursday 11th December 2014 at 18:00 in the Foyle Room of the British Library, Euston Road, London, there will be a lecture entitled "Diamonds are Forever?", being an illustrated talk on the last 15 years of Edison's production of cylinders and Diamond Discs from the factory fire of 9th December 1914 to October 1929. Musical selections demonstrating the best and the worst of the Edison output will be played on a Blue Amberolised Model B Triumph with cygnet horn and a B80 Diamond disc phonograph.
