I just bought my first Edison Phonograph and in not sure of the model and year. All I have is an SM # and the megaphone cover is of gothic origin. I've tried to look look it up but no luck. I found what appears to be an 11 13 and the way down the same space is an SM 60314 on the data plate. The case it sits in has on the front ledge L 228 a few spaces down is an S over an S and a few more spaces 67. Is any of this helpful in determining what model and year I have?

Could that "11 13" actually be an "H 19"? Here is an H 19 for comparison: If not, some photos would help. BillS

We need a Pic of the factory Dataplate and of the machine... otherwise this thread is pretty useless and we can't help you. PS: You also posted this in the WRONG Forum as this is the "Cylinder" Machines Forum....NOT the "DISC Machines" Forum...but whatever...Just respond here anyway.. ) Tony K.(NEFaurora@aol.com) Edison Collector/Restorer
