hello, I wonder if anyone can enlighten me as to which cylinders I can play on my Edison phonograph? It is all very new to me and I have discovered how fragile the cylinders are by breaking the first one. ![]() I could not add a photo but the model is K D. All help appreciated as I would like to purchase a few more cylinders.

Hi! Is the "K" resignation on the reproducer? I do not know of any "KD" model phonograph; but there is a Model K reproducer, which has two styli on a rotating mount.
If so, you should be able to play pretty much any type of cylinder (although I wouldn't recommend using it on early brown wax cylinders).
Check also whether the phonograph has the gearing to play both 2 and 4 minute cylinders.
Photos are a great help; are you having difficulty uploading them, or do you not have a camera?

If you have a phone with a camera, or even a webcam on your computer, you can save your photos in 'documents' or similar. When you want to add them to a post, click the 'add attachment' button, then click 'choose file'. Select the photo from the file, and click 'choose': that should upload the photo, and add it at the end of your post.
