My father recently passed away and left behind several vintage record players. The one I am most confused about is an Edison Home phonograph, model E. I can’t find any information on this type of model. Any help would be appreciated.

The Model E is a fairly late machine, probably introduced around 1910 or later. The last Home produced was the Model F, which lasted until 1913.
For more details, you might want to check with the Talking Machine Forum and the Antique Phonograph Society; they have many helpful posts and articles, as well as a very knowledgeable membership.
