I got this from a guy I know that is moving. He always wanted to bring it back to life but ran out of time. I was afraid it would go to the scrap heap so I grabbed it. It needs the reproducer and some love. I guess it's my burden now not to let it die.
Thanks for any help you can give. It won't let me post pictures yet but I will. The metal plate says. C-19 SM 85566

C-19? That's a good model: double spring motor, large horn: I have a C-250, which was its immediate predecessor. Mahogany or oak?
You can often find reproducers on Ebay, or check with George Vollema at Great Lakes Antique Phonograph: you'll probably want one in gold finish.
Oh, and I would highly recommend Eric Reiss' The Compleat Talking Machine as a reference book: it is an indispensable resource for any collector & restorer.
