All are familiar with Billy Murray's version of this tune on BA 1550 but here's a later version by Billy Jones which I like equally as well. This was recorded direct from my C-19 with a Standard Reproducer w/o filtering. Enjoy! Bill www.box.net/shared/vxrrz2ssv0

Thanks, Bill! Billy Jones does the song justice.
I've also heard good things about Vernon Dalhart's mid-20's Edison rendition. However, I'm not sure that I've ever heard it.

Rocky, I have it but I don't care for it. I'll post it later in the day and you be the judge. It Is a totally different style. Bill [edit] ok, I was bored and the GF was sleeping, so here it is.... www.box.net/shared/4ogaouoiy4

It won't work for me. The Real site prompts me for an update, but I've been avoiding their updates.

No problem accessing the Real sound file here at work. What a painfully bland, uninspired rendition!
Vernon, to make amends for this tedious recording, I order you back into the Edison studios for one full week to sing the vocal refrains on hot dance tunes.
