Hey Rocky, how about several hundred Victor spring motors all hooked up in parallel, installed in the rt.15 PCC cars? In the event of power failure, of course.

Yes Bill, and whats left over, you can throw in a bucket with some metho and make "black japan". A really thick solution make a good altenative to spray putty. I have used it before to do the edges of my floors before as well.

John, in Philly they stop the trolleys by running them into automobiles. Actually, Rocky wants to stop them permanently and go back to those stinky old buses. This would be like abandoning our beloved phonographs for an iPod---unthinkable!!
