A couple of my, indestrucible cylinders were bounceing and making a taping noise on the machine. While I was playing one. Any idea why it suddenly started to do this? All my other cylinders are fine. Could the fact, that these cylinders are not in a container, have something to do with it?

Sounds like it wasn't tight enough on the mandrel.

Is there any corrosion on the metal ring(s) inside the cylinder? This may cause the cylinder to not get properly seated on the mandrel and can cause it to "walk off" a bit while playing.

Yes, there is some corrosion, but so far it's only these two cylinders. So far?
