Hi everyone, I've always wondered what a DD recording lathe looked like and also what the recorder itself looked like. Does anyone have sketches or pics of any? Cheers François

Hi Francios,
I believe the Edison Disc Phonograph book has several pages of recording and pressing of records? Its by George L. Frow.
I don't know if I could copy pages of it legally or not?
I will email you off line later about it..
Larry

Another excellent book on the subject with a number of large format, clear photos of Edison's Columbia Street studio (with its 125-foot brass recording horn) is Edison Disc Artists And Records 1910-1929 by Raymond Wile and Ron Dethlefson.
