Hello everyone, Here are, at last, the soundfiles of the comparative testings I ran on Larry's diaphragm and an Original Edison diaphragm, both mounted on an Edison Standard Reproducer with a new fine tuned Bar, Stylus & Axis. On both reproducers, I also fine tuned the diaphragm clamping ring pressure so as to obtain as balanced and powerful as possible a sound. hi Larry , Sorry it took so long for me to do the listening test . IMO , the Original Edison diaphragm wins !
I will post an mp3 of the Golden Gate Orchestra as played on my 250C shortly . It will be with one of my NOS Edison diaphragms in a standard DD reproducer as installed and tuned myself .

FT,
Great transfers. That's a tough one, they are very close. I'll have to listen to them a few more times. I have to get back into the Edison groove-I've been very Victor-centric for the past few months among some other things.
Regards, J.
