Over a year ago, I purchased a verically challenged Edisonic model Schubert phonograph. It might be the same machine mentioned in the post below. I didn't realize its legs had been sawn off until I got the machine, since the pictures on Ebay didn't have a good frontal picture of the machine. If I had looked more closely, I would have noticed it, but I was in too much of a hurry to own an Edisonic to notice it. When I complained to the seller that he didn't mention the missing legs in his ad, he said he was just an antique dealer selling it for an old lady out of her basement. Luckily a friend of mine had a parts machine and properly removed its legs and sent them to me. The only part of the leg assembly that he didn't include was the long stretcher between the two sets of legs on each side. If anyone has one, or knows of someone who could make an identical duplicate, I would like to know. I also need a door knob for it. The rest of this Edisonic is very nice and it plays beautifully!

For those of you that are not aware of this site, www.victroladoctor.com carries lots of parts for various brands of phonographs. George Vollema does mechanical repairs too! He might have a door knob for you Edisonic.
