Hi, I am new to this. Have a C19 my wife inherited. It has a broken thread (??) or what ever it is called from the needle to cone? in the arm. I took it apart and doesn't look like it has a wire inside. Probably took it apart wrong. Any place to get parts and instructions how to fix? Took a picture but can't figure out how to attach it. Thanks in advance

Hi Chuck,
What is broken is the silk link from the diaphragm to the stylus bar. You will need to get a replacement diaphragm w/link, either original or repro. You will also probably need 2 new rubber gaskets as I'm sure the originals have hardened. You can call Ron Sitko @ (518) 371-8549. I know he has new repro diaphragms w/link but not sure if he carries originals. Unfortunalely, age has made the original links extremely fragile so you may be better off with the repro one.

Thanks Bill, I called Ron tonight and am sending out my order tomorrow. I really appreciate your fast response since I am hoping to have it working for the holidays. Regards, Chuck
