Wyatt,
What's your take on the condition of the bottom of that crate? Does it appear to be water damaged to you?

Wyatt, What's your take on the condition of the bottom of that crate? Does it appear to be water damaged to you? Bill Water damaged, yes. But, the gent didn't email me back. I hope he doesn't have $$$ signs in his eyes. Original Diamond Disc machines in their original crates have their good points and bad. Bad points include weird age marks on the shellac finish, as well as damage due to mishandling over the decades.......and the imagined price. I once drove 3.5 hours to look at an Amberola 30 with 200 BA cylinders. After the "hello-how-do-you-do......." the gent quoted me $12,000 because it was the FIRST Edison. !!! WM
