Hi Rocky, I've already posted this link on OTVMMB, but thought I'd include it here as well for any other readers. Apparently there are 4 BAs with intros www.archive.org/details/celeaiada1912Unfortunately, it doesnt seem to list the other two titles!

Wow!!! $78.77 at this point!!! That is absolutely nuts. I run into this cylinder fairly regularly, and have never had bids higher than 10-15 $$$ when I have put it on Ebay. This was the only cylinder in the regular series that was announced as far as I know and they will all be a flat-top as this was a direct recording. I have had it also with a beveled rim and it bears the same # but be careful if you run across it as it is a different take w/o the announcement. This was Collin's "signature" song and I have it also in 2m on various materials I also have the Constantino which is also announced by him in Italian,(funny, he was actually Spanish!)and perhaps the other 2 he did in the 28000 Concert series,28140-Otello "Morte d'Otello & 28150-Mignon, Ah, non credivi to![also on wax 4m B164] )were also announced. I have never run across the latter two and have only seen the Aida a couple of times over the years. Dang, I have one copy of 1560 left and at that price, I'm seriously thinking of dumping it!!!!!!!!! Bill

I also forgot to mention that it was released on 4M Amberol #18 (8/09), and the early flat tops utilized the same molds. Good ole' frugal Tom. A true Yankee!!!
