Hello All,
A few years ago, I made my own Diamond disc cabinet and fitted it with a C250 mecanism :
This is what it looks like now :
Lately, I just acquired for less than 30 $ an HMV 511 phono cabinet (made in Glasgow Great Britain and dating by 1925 ).
The owner was not sure as what it was...
The cabinet had been tampered with (lid was shortened and nailed to the cabinet in a rather raw way) and it contains no phono or horn, but it's the perfect fit for my Edison 250 mecanism :-)
I intend to completely revarnish and revamp it.
