see pics Thanks I thought it was from a pathe but not sure I have the comp[complete phonograph and this is the arm that goes with it If i remember vaguely I think it said Path

It's a generic arm used on a few different off-brand machines. I think this one might be off a Puritone, although they appear on other minor brands as well. Cheney also used a similar arm, but Cheney supplied 2 reproducers that were swapped over to play either vertical or lateral discs. This arm appears to be the type where the reproducer can be swivelled to suit the disc format being played.

Bill, As Shane suggested, this is probably from a Puritone machine. It's not from a Pathe nor from a Cheney, as the Cheney had an octagonal shaped tone arm w/the steps. See pic below. Bill
