Brand new here and looking for advice. I am looking at an edison cabinet sm 37011, with a bunch of dds with it, some are paper and some are engraved some are broken (but they're thin, forgive my pretending to know what I'm talking about) they are asking 35dollars for the whole group. I was wondering if i'm just wasting my money. The cabinet is a bit broken up, it's open. I'd be happy if someone would pm me or email me, or call and I could talk through it, I have about 2 hours to decide, and you guys seem to be the experts. I figured 35 bucks wouldn't be bad, at worst i'm out 35 bucks.

There should be a model number on the ID plate, such as S-19, C-150, etc. $35.00 isn't too bad as some DDs go for some good money. At the very least, you can part out the machine to recoup your $$$$$.

Now I know, it's an H19, it works, just missing the grill in the front. I'm looking at pictures on the internet and it looks like it's missing the wood from the crank and maybe a knob or something from the break? Anyway, my wife loves it, and it's worth way more than 35 dollars to her. I have several diamond discs with it, but then some other records too (they don't play, after some research I know why and will stop trying). Thanks for replying. I'm looking forward to learning about my new toy and figuring out what to do with it.
