I have a label that I've not seen before. Take a look - it's missing the Edison Plaque and the Patent Plaque. Does anyone know anything about this label? The coupling number does not appear anywhere on the disc - including the sides. Thanks! Attachments:

When Edison was changing over the location of the record number from the edge to the label area on the incised discs, there was a period where no number could be found on the record. This was around 1917-1919 and the record info was pasted to the sleeve that described the song, record number and artist. What is the reverse side title? It is unusual there is no matrix & take number scratched in the run-off area.

Chant sans Paroles - Matrix #3374-A Mould 2 - 4
Orientale - Matrix #3394-A Mould 2 - 3
I've just never seen one with the boarder shown and no plaques.

Your disc was coupled 0n 7/27/15 and announced in the catalog in September of that year. It remained in the catalog until the Phonograph Division closed on 10/31/29 . The artist performing both sides was Albert Spaulding, who made many recordings for Edison on cylinder & disc. Your label is one of the earlier ones made after the frosted "shield" label. Below is similar one from 1920. I'm sure if I keep digging through my incised discs, I'll find some that matches yours.
