Hello, newbie here. My stepmother gave me this Edison in 1977, including 95 cyl records. Her mother bought it somewhere in NC. It did not work when given to me, but the spring was wound too tight and that was an easy fix. Can anyone offer any advice as to what I year this was made, and at shot at the value? Nice Edison Home with 2/4 gearing and selector switch. While it is hard to date these Edisons it looks like a Model "D" and dates to around 1910. As far as the value these machines run from 200 to 750 dollars in running condition. This is one of the most common players.

By the serial # and the added 2/4 M attachment, I believe your machine is a Mod B. The D had dispensed with the manual lever and changing was controlled by pulling out or pushing in the gear change in the main pulley.
