Hello all, I'm new to the board and new to collecting.
Can someone please tell me how to adjust the belt tension on an Edison Triumph Model B? I read some where that the weight of the motor is used to do it ...but how is it done?

You adjust the belt tension via the front motor mount. It's to the right of the governor weights. Counter clockwise lowers the front of motor and tightens belt. Attachments:

Thanks, simple enough.

The belt should not be so tight as to inhibit the speed of the machine, and not loose enough to slip and cause warble, I usually adjust them a little past where it no longer slips, the machine should play steadily all the way to the end of the spring .
