And I noticed it even has the LP reproducer! This is the second time it has been listed too...looks like at least it has a bidder.

Gents,
Only $660.00! Why so low? It is a beautiful instrument. Sean now that you say that, it does look a little familiar. Is it the same one listed again or just the same model? How much did it go for last time-if it sold?
Regards, J.

This machine was listed a few weeks ago, and ended at $650.00 with one bid. The sale obviously didn't go through (shill bid?) and this time it sold for what you mentioned, $660.00

I had a similar model once.. Other than the historical nature of the Long Play machine the rest was dismal. Very poor sound, weak, and none of the Long play records I had would go more than a few seconds without hanging up in the tiny grooves. Nice to look at maybe for a musuem. I don't recall the legs on the ebay one but mine wobbled like crazy on those tiny legs they choose for the LP cabinets.

Larry, Yes I have heard the negatives about the LP's but this also plays standard DD right? If so how did they sound on it? Funny you sound mention that about the legs, I think there was one of these on the 'Bay last year sans legs. Regards, J.

I think that the legs were a problem of the 1920's. I have a few Victrolas and radios from the period and they weigh like crazy!!! And have long skinny legs.... It's a minor miracle how any of them made it this far in time considering their weight and all.

Why so low? Too hard to ship, an Edisonic in New York went for less than this, I was sad I could not have gotten it.
