You won't find the answer to this in the George Frow book. This is entirely subjective. Please vote for your least and most attractive DD model.
Least - C-150 The big egg-shaped oval makes the grille look boring.
Most - Although I've never seen one in person, I have seen a picture of one, but that was just a drawing, the L-19, or Louis XIV gets my vote.

For least attractive: well, there are a number of contenders, but for me, the London Upright and Console are not particularly appealing……
As for most attractive, I'd have to nominate the A-425 - the Louis XV in Circassian walnut.

I had the Circassian Walnut Louis XV way back. It was attractive for sure but something was a bit odd about the shape to me.. I almost think of the uprights a good lighter oak C 19 is something I could like. I am also prone to like the larger consoles and have always wanted the C450 but the upright William and Mary would also fit the bill in the lighter tones. I have the william and mary console and they are also nice, it was the first style of edison I ever owned.

Interesting, I have a very nice William and Mary W-19. I think it is a late model because the finish appears to be lacquer as there is no alligatoring. And it is for sale. Contact me if interested. I can deliver it to the CAPS show in Buena Park in August.
