Hi Guys, I have an Edison Standard that I had the 2/4 min conversion installed. It seems to work great on the 4 min side. However the 2 min side about 80 percent through starts to skip and double up words and play poorly. Any tips on what to do? Confused as to why I don't have any problems on the 4 minute side. Neil

Hi Neil.
This may cover ground that you've already been over, but what kind of 2 minute cylinder were you playing? Many 2 minute celluliod Indestructable cylinders are shrunken and do about what you describe. I've also had moulded wax cylinders come slightly loose on the mandrel while playing and do the same thing. Those are the first two things I'd check. Other things come to mind such as making sure the machine is level and is using a proper 2 minute reproducer. I'd imagine you'd notice if the gear changer slid back into the 4 min position. I'll be interested in hearing of your progress.
