I am studying Edison Phohograph. I made a table of Edison Spring Driven Phonograph by issuing date based on the book of "A Guide to The Edison Cylinder Phonograph" compilied by George L. Frow.

I have all of Frow's books... Funny, I don't see the "Alva" on the list....Strange....Maybe because it was rare.... ) Tony K.

I figured out why the Edison "ALVA" was not on the list...It is because it was an electric motor machine, Not a Spring Motor machine.

Regards. I have several Edison standards but I just go an old standard model A with a 80000 serial number and a mfg date of 1898 It has a shaver on it. Any Info on this machine
