So the museum I'm the archivist/everything at recently acquired an Edison diamond disk phonograph (Serial number S19-SM-32326) for use in the museum. Unfortunately I really don't know much about it, let alone how to take care of it. What resources would you recommend for someone completely unfamiliar with this machine, what tips and tricks do you all have, what should I avoid doing, and any interesting facts that visitors might be interested in? Also, much to my boss's amusement, I've decided that "Nearer My God To Thee" is the Closing time for the Museum Song (only ONE person has understood the refference btw).
