Here's a 2-minute Indestructible (or Everlasting, I never know which) song sung by Elida Morris: "Stop, Stop, Stop" (Elida Morris) 1457 www.box.net/shared/ae9ozmqec0Perhaps she inspired Beatrice Kay. Remember her? Recorded off an Amberola I with Diamond A reproducer. Enjoy! C.

Everlasting(s) are properly called U-S (or U.S.) Everlasting(s). They have an asphaltum impregnated cardboard core and were made in Cleveland, Oh. by the U.S. Phonograph Co. The title information is embossed into the asphaltum rim and can be difficult to read.
Indestructible records have a cardboard core with a metal ring near the title end. The title ends are celluloid and are much easier to read. The boxes are marked Everlasting Indestructible which likely adds to the confusion of which is which. These were made by the Indestructible Record Co. of Albany, N.Y.
Thanks for posting "Stop, Stop, Stop" . . . I really enjoyed it! Luke W.

I remember some years ago when I got my copies of Jim Walsh's two "brand new" Billy Murray tapes from Merritt Malvern that Walsh compiled in 1976. The presentation included a duet with Billy Murray and Elida Morris, and Walsh commented that Elida Morris was in her 90s and living in a nursing home.
