Gents,
I just picked up a box of records today with some real gems!
Among the lot is Victor 18976-A "Lovin' Sam" Miss Patricola w/ The Virginians b/w "Away Down East In Maine" I must say that Miss Patricola does a remarkable job with both. This "Lovin' Sam" is one of the best recordings I've heard of it. Two Canadian HMV Victors 19130-A "That Big Blond Mamma" Tennessee Ten b/w "Sobbin' Blues" The Benson Orch. Of Chicago Two fantastic sides ;D This "Sobbin' Blues" is great! & 18986-A "Lost (A Wonderful Girl)" The Great White Way Orch. b/w "Where The Bamboo Babies Grow" The Virginians both very fun sides!
I don't have a lot of these Canadian Vics but the ones I do have are all very good recordings great quality and very good music.
I got a ton more but these are the standouts so far.
Regards, J.
