Recently, I had bought a copy of "Discovering Antique Phonographs" and found out that Edsion had made Needle cut records, and machines. I thought he only made DD's and DD players. Anyone else know about these? I need to read more about them in the book.

Paul,
The first needle cut records were released in Aug. 1929 and the last recording date for them was Oct. 18th, 1929. All production ceased on the 28th of that month when the doors of the Phonograph Division closed. They sound very good but due to the small number produced are rather expensive. Edison only made five machines that were specifically designed for them. The C-1,C-2 and C-4 Radio Phonographs and the P-1 and P-2 portables.
