hello everyone-------i am a new member and could use someone please. i have an edison standard model A phono. i just bought a new half nut for my carraige. my unit runs fine until i put the carraige down to play a cylinder-----then it stops. i assume i have installed the half nut incorrectly. does any one have advice or suggestions?any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you michael

Adjusting this in or out determines how much pressure bears upon the feed screw. You may find this is a trial & error adjustment until you get it just right. I don't live more than 35 minutes from Boston so if you have continuing difficulty, we can perhaps get together and get this straightened out. Bill
