He must have some fantastic records there, but I have to question the value they mentioned as being in the millions. Even to be a $1,000,000 collection, that would average out at $40 per disc??

Oh, Joe Bussard does have the goods. He's put out some amazing discs, and if you have a of acoustic blues, like something on Yazoo, there is a good chance he's mentioned inn the credits. There's a good article in the latest Fretboard Journal. First recordings of John Faheywere done there! I'm sure a lot of his stuff will end up in the National Archives or at a school like 'Ole Miss's blues archive. Seems like he may be an almost bi-polar type, so if you go do some homework and then gird thy loins. Dan J

I think he collaborates with Robert Crumb (yeah, that guy from the late 60s who was an underground comix artist and is a BIG early blues collector) and I believe I have a CD of a show they did a while back. Man, there was some great stuff on it.
