I was just informed that I will be the virtual guest host on the Antique Phonograph Music Program on WFMU 91.1 FM in New York City and 90.1 FM in the Hudson Valley. Tune in on Tuesday, December 2nd at 7:00pm Eastern time to hear my program. For those of you outside the WFMU listening area, you can hear the program on streaming audio by going to: wfmu.org/Click on the "Listen Now" link in the "Now Playing" portion of the web page. If you can't listen to it live, it will be archived along with the play list at: wfmu.org/playlists/apI will be having an all-Edison Diamond Disc program. You will hear a lot of hot dance recordings from the 1920s, including those by Irving Aaronson's Crusaders, the Golden Gate Dance Orchestra, W.C. Polla's Orchestra, Vaugn De Leath, the Picadilly Players, and others. Hope you enjoy it!

Phil, Thanks for the information; I’ll try to catch you live. It’s nice that those are available as both RealAudio and MP3 format recordings; while personally I feel that MP3 is vastly preferable, choice is always good. Much like being able to choose between your Edison recordings and your Victor/Columbia/etc. recordings. — MordEth

Phil, First there was Norman's Blue Amberol dance band program a few weeks ago, and now we have your DD dance band program. I think it's wonderful that Edison records are receiving airtime on Mac's show, with its worldwide reach and archived programs. You do realize that you may be creating competition for Edison records! ;D Rocky

Phil, I’m looking forward to it, and to seeing more of your videos, after finding your channel through some of the comments you’d made on videos that I helped put up. Of your videos, I particularly enjoyed “The Shiek” by the Broadway Dance Orchestra, embedded below for the viewing convenience of anyone who may not have already seen it: It’ll be nice to get to hear more of your collection. — MordEth
