Hey everyone,
I recently bought a copy of Rene Rondeau's book on Tinfoil phonographs. It's a well written book, with lot's of wonderful B/W photos. It gives a good history on them and early recorded music.
Thanks for the book Rene.
Cheers
Paul

You're spot on, Paul. It's a great book that shows machines that most of us can only dream of having. You can always hope that one of these early machines will show up at the local tag sale touted as an early "apple peeler" for $1.00!

Well, you're not far off...! There's a story in Rene's book of how a guy bought a Tinfoil Phonograph at a garage sale for $15.00!! (This was within the past decade.) Now THAT'S a story...
