I just learned from a friend that attended the Wayne, NJ show yesterday that Ken Woodbury of "Nipper's Choice" suffered what appeared to be a heart attack early on in the show. I have known Ken for well over 30 yrs and he is a great guy to deal with. Let us all hope and pray for his speedy recovery.

Ken was transported to St. Josephs hospital in Patterson. He had 2 stints installed Sunday and is currently sedated in the ICU. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Best regards, Bill Meyer

i Talk to my good friend (and mentor) Charley Hummel about 5 days ago and he said Ken was going to have by pass surgery and should do fine. When i talked to him he had just got done talking to Ken in person and said he was laughing and jokeing again. This was a quit terrible event that occured and both me and my mother tried to bring him back but when the paramedics showed up and were able to bring him back after shocking him... He almost didnt make it but that Edison he did.

Will,
I haven't heard anything negative and the few times I tried to call him went unanswered.

My wife and I received a thank you card from him a couple days ago. He is doing well and is slowly getting back into the swing of things. He's undergoing regular physical therapy, but plans on setting up at a upstate N.Y. antique show (Madison-Bouckville event) in mid-August.
