This is the first Edison Needle Record that I have ever found. I bought it from a record dealer in a local antique mall for $75.00. It was $85.00, but I got 10% off. I will up load a couple of videos on it soon. Paul

Dear Paul,
Thank you for sharing your new purchase with us. As you know Edison, lateral discs are scarce due to the very short time they were actually on sale and also the fact that they tend not to be very good! I have one in my collection but I don't find them as instrinsically interesting as electrically recorded Diamond Discs but don't let me put you off, they are a great thing to own and collect.
All the best and good collecting.
Regards

Thank You Tim,
Oh I don't expect everyone to enjoy them. I thought it was cool to find one. Mainly because I have a few DD's in my collection and can find more of those, then the needle cut ones. Ya, they were only produced in 1929, just before the Phonograph division shut down, at the Edison Labs.
Don't forget to check out my Youtube Channel's Edisonfans19, and Nippers Electric Bar.

A bunch of us enjoy your You Tube channel; your devotion to Edison phonographs is great. They and the Edison records are like none other!
