Hi guys, new member from across the sea, I live in Australia and have just purchased this Edison home phonograph, it is in very good condition over all, seems as though it has been restored many, many years ago. Anyhow I only have the one pic of it ATM, what I would love to know is 1, is it a model A, and 2, when would it have been made roughly?? Thanks guys! Attachments:

More photos would help.
For instance: a model A would have a banner decal, a ball latch on the endgate, and a bedplate that spans the length of the upper works.
A model B would have a simple "Edison" decal (except for early specimens), a teardrop-shaped latch, and a short bedplate.
Later models would have no endgate at all.
As for manufacturing date, our resident archivist has a list of serial numbers with corresponding dates (up to a point).

From what I can see, It looks like a Model A Home Long Bedplate Model. Probably manufactured 1901-1903. Need more pics for a better determination.. ) Tony K. Edison Collector/Restorer
